Canon John writes…

First of all, we warmly welcome the children and their families who will be joining us in preparation for the Sacraments of First Confession and First Communion 2022. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you over the course of 2022.

This is always a very enriching experience for us – for these Sacraments are indeed the highlight of our year.

Due to the current situation, there will be one course covering children in Catholic and non-Catholic schools. On registration evening (Wednesday 5th January 2022 in St Clare’s Church at 20:00h  there will be a full outline as to how we shall proceed with the preparation of the children for the above Sacraments.

The rest of the documents will appear below in mid-November 21 and must be returned for Sunday 5th December 2021, 1800h to St Joseph’s presbytery in an envelope marked First Confession/Communion 2022 with the candidate’s name. The Baptism certificate of the candidate must be enclosed. Please do not return documents without the Baptism certificate.

We look forward to seeing all who have sent in the registration forms for these Sacraments.
